Al-Shahin (Arabic for falcon) was launched as a project to select and translate funny and profound as well as disgusting and racist caricatures from Middle Eastern newspapers. In no way does the author of this blog agree with racist and antisemite caricatures that will be inevitable to come across when dealing with Arabic political cartoons. These kinds of caricatures are only displayed for reasons of documentation. All copyrights remain with the newspapers mentioned and their caricaturists.
